About Me

Nur Bilge Ertan was born in 1994 in Izmir, Turkey. She went to Izmir Atatürk High School and received her bachelor's degree in Management Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), one of the top universities in Turkey. She studied in Paris, France for one year as an Erasmus exchange student at Université Paris-Nanterre. Deeply influenced by the city's rich cultural atmosphere, she developed a strong interest in disciplines that explore human nature and life, particularly psychology and philosophy. It was during her time in France that the first seeds of her journey toward becoming a professional coach were planted.
During her studies at the university, she had various volunteer experiences both in Türkiye and abroad, which fostered a strong passion for contributing to people's growth and creating a positive impact. She was involved in the "Another Way Project" for 3 years, one of the biggest and most influential projects of the ITU Volunteering Club, as a volunteer teacher and mentor to high school students who lacked educational support due to economic constraints. For one year, she also served as the project coordinator, leading volunteers, facilitating weekly meetings, organizing activities, and overseeing the project's operations.
While on exchange in Paris, she joined AFEV, an important nonprofit organization in the fight against educational inequalities in France, where she took part in a project that provides social support to primary school children. Another opportunity to volunteer in an international setting came through a project in Egypt. She volunteered as a teacher at a francophone kindergarten in Cairo as part of a short-term AIESEC project. Thanks to all these experiences with different cultures and age groups, she had the chance of witnessing the supportive effect of meaningful relationships on human growth and development.
She discovered professional coaching during her final year at university through a series of group coaching programs. Later, she experienced individual coaching herself, which allowed her to witness firsthand the transformative impact of coaching. Seeing the powerful role coaching can play in unlocking human potential inspired her to pursue a professional coaching career. Guided by her commitment to supporting human development and creating a positive impact, she began her coach training at Adler International Learning Central Europe, one of the world's leading coaching schools. She completed the ICF-accredited Professional Coaching Programs and the Advanced Coaching Program: Practicum, earning the Adler Trained Coach (ATC) designation in 2023. The same year, she successfully demonstrated coaching competencies at the ICF PCC level in Adler's certification examination and was awarded the Adler Certified Professional Coach (ACPC) designation. To further deepen her coaching practice, Bilge has volunteered multiple times as a teaching assistant in Adler's coach training programs. She has accumulated more than 200 hours of coaching experience with clients from Türkiye and around the world. She primarily supports her clients in achieving their career and personal development goals, working with adults from diverse backgrounds on topics such as career management, performance development, self-confidence, and leadership. In addition to one-on-one coaching, she designs and facilitates personal development workshops in both Turkish and English, supporting organizations and communities across different cultural contexts. Her ongoing learning and professional development journey continues through studies in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis, a field she was drawn to through her deep admiration for Dr. Viktor Frankl's perspective on human beings, meaning, and life.
Passionate about language learning, she is fluent in English and French and has an intermediate command of Spanish. Besides her passions for nature, swimming, and traveling, she enjoys reading about human psychology, philosophy of mind, and neuroscience.
